Dust off your vintage ride
Two days, two shows and £1,500 in prize money each day. Saturday is all about old skool BMX, and Sunday belongs to retro mountain bikes.
Entry is free for everyone with a festival ticket. There’s no pre-registration, just turn up and join in.
How the day runs
10:00 Line up
Bring your bike to the Main Arena with a rear wheel stand to display it.
10:00 to 13:00 Judging
Bikes on display for the public and the judging panel.
13:00 Top ten
The top ten bikes and owners are invited on stage for interviews.
13:30 Podium
The top five bikes are chosen and invited onto the podium.
Same format both days. Free entry for all festival ticket holders, no pre-registration needed.
Saturday: IKONIX BMX Retro Show n Shine
Open to any BMX built in or before 1996.
Bob Haro, Clive Gosling and Alan Woods lead the judging panel.

Sunday: Muc-Off Retro Show n Shine
Open to any mountain bike built in or before 2006.

The rules
- Entry is free, but you need a festival ticket to get on site.
- Bring as many bikes as you like.
- Your bike and all its parts must be 1996 or earlier for BMX, and 2006 or earlier for MTB.
- The show is for privateers. If your bike is owned by a manufacturer, please display it on your trade or expo stand instead.
- Bring a rear wheel stand to display your bike.
- Your bike is on display at your own risk. Please stay by it so people can see it and ask you about it.
- When you’re finished, leave the arena with your bike and lock it up.
- The judges’ decision is final.
- Prize money is paid by bank transfer within seven days of the event.

Doddy walks the line at the show, from Yeti, Tomac and Kona to Chas Roberts, Dave Hinde, Cannondale, Marin, Manitou and Saracen.
